You received this chargeback because a cardholder claims that the travel services you provide have not or will not be provided and your business has failed.
This chargeback is only available for European domestic transactions, including intra-EEA, Gibraltar, and United Kingdom transactions.
In most situations, a chargeback must be filed within 120 days of the latest expected service date. There are exceptions for certain countries and situations (for example, if a bonding authority is involved).
If you — the merchant — have the required data and supporting documents, you can fight a ‘failed travel merchant specific European transactions only’ chargeback. At most, you will have 45 days to respond.
