An Independent Sales Organization (ISO) is a third-party company authorized to resell merchant services on behalf of an acquiring bank. ISOs help businesses set up payment processing and may offer additional services like fraud tools, billing software, or chargeback support. They must be registered with card networks and comply with financial regulations.
