For more than a decade, Mihail Mihaylov has specialised in building reliable, secure and scalable technical foundations that help merchants launch, operate, and grow with confidence.

Mihail gained payment industry experience while working for Emerchantpay and E-Comprocessing, developing deep technical expertise in merchant onboarding, API integrations, and end-to-end transaction flow validation. During this time, he supported the integration and optimisation of IBM Safer Payments, improving risk-monitoring accuracy, operational efficiency, and protection against transactional threats — directly supporting merchant performance and platform trust.

He later expanded his monitoring and reliability capabilities by implementing Splunk-driven observability frameworks, enabling faster incident detection, clearer operational insight, and stronger post-deployment verification across complex service environments — all designed to minimise disruption and reinforce merchant continuity.

Today, as Director of Technology at AltoPay, Mihail leads the technical delivery and integration strategy that underpins the company’s merchant-focused service model. His priority is ensuring that every merchant receives a fast, smooth, and future-proof technical experience — from first integration to live operations. His approach combines hands-on engineering knowledge, data-driven decision-making, and a commitment to long-term reliability, security, and clarity for merchants.

Mihail graduated from the International Business School (IBS), later studied Web Technologies at New Bulgarian University, and holds professional certifications in Python Programming and Web Programming (HTML, CSS, JS).
