AltoPay Editorial Policy
At AltoPay, we always aim to provide the most honest, transparent, helpful, and accurate information possible — which extends to the content we publish on our website. We take great pride in the quality of content we produce.
Our process
Our publishing process consists of three stages.
STAGE #1
Our in-house team of professional writers craft every resource on our site. They thoroughly research the topic, interviewing industry experts when needed. The outcome is accurate, helpful resources that are actionable and easy to understand.
STAGE #2
All members of our editorial board review every piece of content before it is published. Additional research is conducted if needed and edits are implemented by our writers.
STAGE #3
Published content is reviewed quarterly to ensure it is still accurate and relevant. Edits are made if necessary, ensuring our resources are always trustworthy and reliable.

Occasionally, content is on topics that are especially nuanced or just emerging — like VAMP. In these situations, we’ll work directly with card brands Mastercard and Visa. We’ll interview members of their team and have them review our content before it is published.
